Idle Tuesday is a reading app: daily stories written by an AI in the language you're learning, at your level. It is built and run by one person. By using it you agree to these terms.
An account is your email address and a sign-in code — no password. You are responsible for access to your inbox. You can delete your account yourself, in the app, at any time; deletion removes your account and its data from the server permanently.
Credit is prepaid usage, not money in an account: one credit is one cent, it never expires, and it is spent when you ask the AI to generate something new. Credit is not redeemable for cash and is not refundable once spent. What a generation costs in credits varies by what you ask for; those rates can change and include the cost of running the service. Promotional credit (such as invite credit) can be changed or ended at any time.
Stories generated by one member become readable by other members that day. Don't abuse this: no automated scraping, no bulk extraction, no reselling the content or the service.
Stories are AI-simplified summaries of reporting by real outlets, with links to the sources. They are for language learning, not a news service of record: check the source before relying on anything.
If you add your own Anthropic API key, requests run from your device on your Anthropic account, under Anthropic's terms and billing. The key stays on your device; this service never sees it.
Don't break the service, probe it, overload it, or use it to harm others. Accounts doing so get removed.
The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. It is a one-person project: outages, bugs, and changes happen. Liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last twelve months, which for most people is zero.
These terms can change; the date above moves when they do. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
